Dare to be different...

Hey!

Let's P.A.R.T.Y!!!!

I hope you can join me in wishing CASE Study a very happy 2nd birthday! Hard to believe it's been two years already, and I'm so honoured to be able to say that I've been there from the start. Seems like only yesterday our fabulous leader, Chupa sent me that sweet email inviting me to join her and a group of fabulous ladies on a creative adventure! :)

So you're here for the blog hop? You should have hopped over here from Julee Tilman. If not, then I recommend you start out here for one seriously inspirational hop! (Honestly, a lot of my stamping crushes are in this hop! So happy to be a part of it!)

Last week's hop was all about 'signature style' and so this week's hop is the opposite. It's about 'thinking outside of the box' and stretching ourselves to dare to ink in a style that's not typically ours.

So are you ready to proceed? Dare you see what I've got that's different to my typical style? Well brace yourselves, because I've got two projects to share with you today!

First up, a shaped card that features a huge amount of patterned paper (two elements that don't usually feature in my cards)

You're so Awesome
Chupa, this card is dedicated to YOU! :)

This card can also be found in the July/August issue of Paper Crafts Magazine. I was inspired to create a surfboard shaped card after playing around with the set, Happy Days (Verve Stamps)

OK so was that still a little too close to my CAS roots? Well how about some shabby chic? Most definitely not my style, but one I dared to try.....(apologies in advance if I offend any masters of the shabby chic style!)

happy Birthday

I think this is about as shabby chic as my mojo to stretch to! This card can be found in the Card Design Handbook by Paper Crafts in the shabby chic section - a section I never thought I'd find myself in!

So there you have it. Me creating outside of my typical CAS comfort zone. I hope that you're inspired to ink along with us too, and dare to be different from your typical style. Who knows? You may just find a new style that you rock at! *wink*

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Now I recommend you hop along to Teneale Williams!
Be sure to comment as you hop because there's some seriously fabby prizes up for grabs too *wink*

Catch ya later!

Um... I think my eyes just got a bit wet... :) What can I say, this journey wouldn't be the same without you and I can't imaging CASE Study without your contribution either! Not only your immense talent, but your personality is adding so much more to CASE Study!! The cards are so "Aimes", even though you stepped out of the box, but I'd smell your artwork from afar ;) Totally gorgeous!!

So sad to read that you will not be at Case Study, it maybe old news but I have been away. Yes, Chuppa is right, it won't be the same without you. Love your work today. This shape card is amazing and is going into my favs folder that I use for inspiration and the second you so mastered it. Though it isn't your style. Thanks for sharing sweetie. Wishing you much success in all that your hand finds to do, both in crafting and every day living. Big Hugs.
