Hello (and Goodbye)

Chevron Hello
Hey!

So another Friday-Eve rolls up. Are you ready for the weekend? Ready for a new CASE Study perhaps?!

Well c'mon, it's JJ's final week with us on CASE Study so let's say goodbye to her in style with this beauty of hers up for studying this week:

Check out the original post of this card here.

I was really taken by JJ's use of colour for this week's CASE Study. In fact, I found it the perfect excuse to cut into yet more of my Park Bench patterened paper collection *wink* Someone stop me, I've never used so much of a single 6x6 patterned paper pad!

The circular element of JJ's card is reflected in my sentiment focal point. To add a touch more interest to my design, I tucked the circle behind a row of trendy chevrons. :)

tips and tricks
  • Create your own coordinating pearls by colouring white ones with an alcohol marker!
  • Look at the patterns of the paper you work with and see if you can add any interesting features by trimming parts of the design.

Oh you know you wanna play along, right?! Get a mojo boost from the CASE Study DT before you get to your crafting stations:

Amy Wanford (That's me!)
Anya Schrier (Guest DT)
Andrea Ewen

Clare Buswell
Debby Hughes
Iwona Palamountain (Chupa)
Jean Martin

Jeanna Jachna
Maureen Plut

Teneale Williams

JJ Bolton (April's Muse)

I've really gotta keep it short and sweet today. That whole burning the candle at both ends thing I was talking about?! Well I'm still doing it. However, after this weekend I'll be indulging in sleep and Blogland for sure. Thanks for stickin' around in the meantime and visiting me!

Such a simple idea - such a mega effect! Love your sun rising (I come from Lake Huron and the sun rises over the lake!) out of the water.
