Happy Friday-Eve, and happy Independence Day to the US peeps! Another week comes to a close, and another month comes into play meaning that at CASE Study HQ we have a new muse to admire for the month of July!
July sees the super Jocelyn Olson hopping on board with us to admire and CASE away! So up for CASEing this week is this fab card of Jocelyn's:
To check out the original post of this card, click here!

- When using coordinating dies and stamps, I find it easier to create a 'template' die first. I then stamp my image, place the template over the top (secure it with sticky tape) and the die slots in and is lined up perfectly. It's kinda hard to explain in words but my CBS DT buddy, Michelle Short, shows the idea in action here.
- To add dimenstion to the die-cut butterfly, I curled the wings gently by bending them around my finger. Do this gently as you don't want to crease the cardstock (or damage the wings!)
Thanks so much for visiting today and if you're reading this on July 4th, Happy Independence Day to you US peeps. Enjoy those fireworks! :)

Aimes that is truly the perfect butterfly and thanks for the great die cutting tip! Also thank you for the warm welcome.
I didn't realize this was such a miniscule card! Must be really cute in person! The butterfly is so adorable, love how the wings look rolled.
