My kinda homework....

If you're looking for my CASE Study card this week, please scroll down - thanks! :)

Thank You
Hey!

Today marks the day to have a hop Uniko Studio Stylee as well as give a big "Happy Birthday!" shout out to my fellow Uniko Studio DT peep, Amber. Happy birthday, Amber - I hope you're having a fabulous day!

The Uniko Studio blog hop features creations by the DT using the set Label Love: Thank You. It's really such a great, versatile set and I couldn't resist pairing it the set Accent Essentials: Arrows to create this fun sun/ray-like card. You should have come here from the Uniko Studio blog if you're hopping - if not you'll want to start there first. :)

The card/colour combo is also the result of my Summer Card Camp 2 homework for week one. I'm loving this class so much (it's not too late to enrol BTW - it only started this week!)

Thank You close UP

tips and tricks
  • Play around with the smaller stamps in your sets and see what patterns you can create. I created this circular border by stamping the tiny flourish border stamp from Label Love: Thank You four times, rotating it 90 degrees with each impression.
  • When it comes to stamping the background on the card, I first stamped a cross and then proceeded to stamp in the gaps that were left in between the rays. It made it much easier to eyeball and keep the pattern pretty even.
Now I'm gonna keep it short and sweet. I'm still tackling my mega list of things I need to get done, there's hopping to be done too and the chance to win the featured set, Label Love: Thank You! So you're next stop is the birthday gal herself, Amber!

Happy hopping and happy Friday-Eve! :D
