Sending love...literally!

Sending you love
Hey!

Happy Friday-Eve! I'm not sure how I'm still creating and blogging given the amount of things on my things-I-have-to-do-list are long enough to reach the moon and back (OK, slight exaggeration there, but there's a heck of a lot of things to get done before school's out for summer in just over a week's time!)

Still, busy or not, I can always find an excuse to study CASE Study stylee and this week's no different. Time to knuckle down, be inspired and create from this lovely card courtesy of our muse, Jocelyn Olson.

Check out the original post of this card here.

I was inspired by Jocelyn's layout and the focus on the word 'heart' as well as the heart shapes. I was also in desperate need of mojo for my guy's birthday card so Joceyln's came to the rescue. Cue a green mini envelope (his favourite colour, as well as mine!), a couple of hearts and some good ol' Glossy Accents to create a simple card that is literally sent with love. :)

sending you love close up

tips and tricks
  •  When applying Glossy Accents to teeny tiny shapes like those hearts, I like to mount them off the desk with a teeny tiny piece of blu tack. This makes is much easier to cover them in Glossy Accents without fear of them sticking to the desk!
  • You could add a pretty cool interactive feature by actually creating a teen tiny card to fit into the teen tiny envie. Time was against me for this card, but it's something I definitely think I'll try in the future.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the CASE Study DT whipped up for ya for a full mojo boost. And as always, we'd love it if you joined in the fun with us too! ;)

Although it feels like I'm spinning way too many plates than is humanly possible, I'll be back in a jiffy with a card that was part of my homework from the OCC Summer Card Camp 2 Class this week as well as being a card for the Uniko Studio blog hop. Hope you can join us!
