There's a sentiment there somewhere...

Let is Snow
Hey!

Happy Friday-Eve! Can you believe that we only get to say that one more time before Christmas? Eeek!

But let's not worry about how unorganised we I am for the holidays. Let's knuckle down to a fabulous new CASE Study. As you know from last week, for December we've picked our favourite Moxie Fab World posts from Cath Edvalson for our inspiration. I think you'll find this week's inspiration point very fitting for the time of year. :)

Check out the original post of this pic here!

Snowflakes. I had to. It'd be rude not to, right?! Yup, I'm still whipping out the odd Christmas card when I can (I actually need to write some and send them now though!). Today's card was inspired not only by the snowflakes but by the silver cake sprinkles and the colour combo of aqua, brown and white.

Apologies, but the winter daylight is not my friend when it comes to photographing my projects. I promise you that there is an embossed sentiment on this card that says 'Let it Snow'. Honest!

tips and tricks
  • I sometimes feel a little uncomfortable leaving a lot of space on a coloured panel of card, so I added some texture with an impression plate and hand-drawing a border of stitches with a white gel pen.
  • Although the centre of the snowflake is intended to be removed, I kept mine in as seeing the twine underneath was distracting.
  • Mix and match your bling. I love to pair gems and sequins for extra sparkles! :)
I know it's a super busy time of year, but we'd love it if you played along with us. Surely some of you have some holiday-themed project/card you've got to whip up yet?! :)

Be sure to get the ultimate mojo boost from the super-duper CASE Study DT too. They rock. They inspire me on a weekly basis every time!

Right, I need go and to get myself organised. These holidays are coming whether I'm prepared for them or not!
