Is it just me, or is this week zooooooooming by?! Friday-Eve already?! Yippee!!
Let's kick off the pre-weekend celebrations with a shiny CASE study, shall we?

Oooh you're in for another treat this week, my fellow CASE Studiers: check out this seriously cute card up for CASEing this week from our fabulous muse this month, Kryssi Ng:

Check out the original post of this super cute card, here!
Tee Hee! Always a sucker for a pun - this card made me smile from ear to ear :)
I decided it was time to crank out some more Christmas cards (you better get used to seein' 'em here for the next few weeks *wink*)
I hope you can tell that I was inspired by Kryssi's colour scheme, use of twine, and two acorns (I simply substituted acorns for baubles!)
With my lack of new Christmas stamps, I'm starting to look at my current stash in a different light. My Mat Stack 2 die looked like it could represent a bauble...what d'ya think? I did cut two of thosemat stack dies baubles from patterned paper but it was far too busy...so instead I used the negative shape from the die cut as a stencil, and sponged shimmer chalk for a more subtle bauble in the background.
Oh and that stripy strip of card at the top (which kinda reminds me of a candy cane - albeit a blue one!) is a scrap from a chevron stamping session - bonus!
So to be a bauble, or not to be - you decide! Whilst you're deciding, be sure to check out the what the rest of the super duper CASE Study DT whipped up for ya:
Iwona Palamountain (Chupa)
Andrea Ewen
Clare Buswell
Debby Hughes
Teresa Kline
Cristina Kowalczyk
Jean Martin
Julie Smith (taking a break but feel free to leave some love!)
Teneale Williams
Kryssi Ng (November's Muse)
And of course, be sure to join in the fun - get inked up and play along with us! All you gotta do is be inspired by Kryssi's card in any way you please and get creative! Oh, and most important of all, have fun! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Catch ya later!

a mat stack for an ornament?!! Shut up, Duchess!! Oh my, genius!! LOVE the colours you pulled from the card...a delicious combo for sure :) We get Friday off for Remembrance Day...I'm trying to remember if you do too :) Things are SLOW at the house so I cracked the whip with the painter tonight!! If everyone just showed up when they are supposed to!! can you imagine if we just showed up whenever?! LOL Have a great weekend :)
that's fantastic! I would have never thought the mat stack 2 die looked like an ornament, but then again - I didn't look at the ornament and immediately register that it was the mat stack 2 die! I adore the subtle ornament in the background - that was a stroke of genius.
To be a bauble or not be a bauble....DEFINITELY a bauble! Seriously, fab. I am so literal when I design...and wish I could get my brain to work like yours :) Gorgeous card Aimes! Happy Friday eve...and I'm looking forward to lots more gorgeous Christmas inspiration from you!
perfect-o girlie!
Aimes, your card is beautiful! I love how you made that bauble in the background (and yes it does look like one).
Love your "baubles" my dear (giggles). Seriously though, this card is fabulous...LOVE everything about it!
A triumph!, definitely looks like a bauble to me and love the muted one hanging in the bkgd too :)
