Balloons posing as balloons...

Hey!

Woo-hoo for Friday-Eve already! Let's get this pre-weekend party started with a new CASE Study!


AND because it's a new month, we've got a new muse to admire too! I'm so happy to see that our muse for January is the super Jen Rzasa! I'm a big fan of Jen's work; I love her CAS style and her out-of-the-box approaches to her designs. Let's check out this first, fun card up for studying this week:

I was taken with the balloons and the sky on Jen's card so started with that as my inspiration...then I realised that I needed a card for my nephew's birthday this weekend so set to it:

Now believe it or not, I do not own a single balloon stamp or embellishment in my crafting supplies. However, I do have my hot-air balloon stamps from Look Up! by Practicing Creativity Designs; not one to be defeated, I simply stamped a hot air balloon on each piece of coloured cardstock, sketched a little triangle at the bottom of the stamped image, cut 'em out, flipped it over and voilà! A balloon fit for a party!

Typing about parties, we've got a cause for a leaving party here at CASE Study...it's with sadness that two fabulous members of our CASE Study family are moving on; both Andrea and Cristina will be missed so much!

However, where there's cause for a leaving party, there's also cause for a welcome party too! We're so happy to welcome the fabulous Christina Maclaren to our DT! Yup that's right, where one Cristina leaves, another Christina enters!
