Happy Friday-Eve, peeps! I'm *so* counting down this week especially, as the end of it signals the real start of my summer holidays! Cue 5 weeks of life at a slower pace - I can't wait! :)
But before I can even start to think about my holiday, we have a CASE Study to focus on!
It's our final week with Kristii Lockart as our muse and we've got this beauty of hers for us to study this week:
Check out the original post of this card here!
I decided to focus on the flowers, the twine treatment, and use of kraft for my own interpretation:
Finally. I've used some of the embellishments that came with the Crate Paper: Portrait Collection after having it for almost a year!
I have to confess that my mojo has gone walkies after not making a card for weeks. It felt a little surreal to sit and make a card after so long! However, using coordinating embellishments and papers from a collection certainly puts less pressure on the mojo. That combined with having a card in the first place to CASE made this much less of a challenge than I anticipated! I'll have to remember this for future mojo-less panics!
Now be sure to check out what the rest of the super-duper-talented CASE Study DT whipped up - I promise you won't be disappointed!
Amy Wanford (You're here!)
Oh, and be sure to play along with us too of course! :)
Keeping it slightly short, slightly sweet today! Celebrate your Friday-Eve in style and have a fabby weekend (anyone else going to watch the Olympics opening ceremony tomorrow?! I know I'll be tuning in for sure!)
Catch ya later!

Aimes, this is gorgeous! I think you should work with patterned paper more often.
This is beautiful, Amy! I have a hard time using embellishments, too, and you've used these flowers perfectly. I love everything about this card and don't see any missing mojo! Enjoy the Olympics!! :D
I'd never know that your mojo went missing from the looks of this beauty! But I know what you mean about losing the crafting groove after being away for a while. I love the subtle background on your card and the bit of texture from the twine.
Oh la la! This is super pretty! Great job :-)
