Happy Friday-Eve! :)
I hope you're ready to start the pre-weekend celebration with a new CASE Study...
....and not only do we have a new CASE Study, but as it's now a new month (Seriously? October already? Oh my!) we have a fantastic new muse on board with us! This month we are studying from the talented Julia Stainton!
Check out this super pretty card of Julia's up for us to study and CASE away this week:
Check out the original post of this card here.
So much attention to detail on this card! I was taken by a number of things:
- The kraft card base (I hardly ever use them!)
- The stamping on fabric (after my last successful attempt I wanted to try again)
- The flowers
- Those sweet staples Julia used to attach that tag next to the clock
- The soft, pretty pinks
- The twine
So after putting all those elements in my CAS comfort zone, this is what I ended up with:
Yup - another fabric butterfly (bear with me; it's the only fabric thing I've got to stamp on!) with some soft, stamped flourishes and inked edges.
This card contains a real mish-mash of product, (including my guy's stapler!) I literally rooted through my box of goodies like a kid at Christmas. I love mixing different brands of product - makes me feel like I'm really getting my penny's worth :)
Now don't just take this card for your starting point before you study - check out the rest of the CASE Study DT:
It would be lovely to see you studying along with us! :)
Thank you so much for stopping by today - have a super duper weekend!
Catch ya later!

Duchess! How did I miss those staples! You have an eye for those! LOVE all the cozy fabric...Fall has started and I had little black mitts out on recess duty today...still too warm for the red ones :) It's our long Thanksgiving Day weekend coming up! Bring on Friday! Hugs!
Stunning Aimes...love the subtle yet bold feeling that the fabric butterfly adds.
CAS stylish at it's best :)
SO pretty and yet so simple. You do some great magic with cards, you do! : )
I just love your CAS style....the card is awesome with those little staples holding the sentiment.
Amazing texture in a clean and simple and perfect card!
I just love how you've taken so many details from Julia's card and still kept your design clean and simple. The stamping on fabric is so soft and delicate!
I love this card! The butterfly accent is fabulous, and I just love the stapled sentiment strip!
