Hey!
Happy Friday-Eve! It's been a fabulous, sunny, warm week here and I'm certainly looking forward to the weekend. Even if it's raining, you won't here me complaining as I celebrate my birthday on Friday and will be extending the birthday fun for most of the weekend. :)
But enough about turning another year older (my age doesn't bother me yet, honest!) let's kick off the pre-birthday/Friday-Eve celebrations with a CASE Study!
Today's card is inspired by a lovely card from our June muse, Lisa Spangler that you can check out here!
Although my card is totally different to Lisa's, a lot was inspired by it:
- The colour combo
- The focal point being in the top third of the card
- The dotty ribbon was interpreted as a scattering of bling and sequins
- those stamped circles became just one large circle as a focal point.
- I used the same striped-patterned stamp as Lisa :)
Now it would be great if you could study along with us too. Need a mojo boost? Then get your boost from the amazing CASE Study DT!
Amy Wanford (That's me!)
Andrea Ewen
Clare Buswell
Debby Hughes
Iwona Palamountain (Chupa)
Lynn Mangan (Guest DT)
Jean Martin
Jeanna Jachna
Maureen Merritt
Maureen Plut
Silke Ledlow
Tasnim Ahmed
Teneale Williams
Lisa Spangler (June's Muse)
Now c'mon and join the fun!
Right then, I must dash as there's Krispy Kreme donuts to be purchased in preparation for celebrating my birthday with my colleagues tomorrow! :)
P.S Project deets to be added soon along with tips and tricks - I'm currently blogging away from home!
