Enjoy Life
Hey!

Welcome to a special spring blog hop in collaboration with Top Dog Dies and Echo Park Paper Co!

Both the Top Dog Dies DT and the Echo Park Paper DT are joining forces on spring-themed projects today. You should have hopped across here from Lisa Swift but if you haven't, then be sure to start out over at Top Dog Dies. :)

Echo Park Paper Co kindly sent me the Splendid Sunshine Collection Kit to create with and I love it. It's so bright and cheery! For my project today I used a patterned paper from the pack, a journalling card, and a fun sticker. This was paired with the beautiful new TDD Butterfly Die Set that was die cut from yet more pretty Echo Park Paper from the collection.

tips and tricks
  • The pearls I used on the butterfly's body were originally white but I coloured them with a pink Promarker to add more contrast and coordinate with the sticker I used. Any alcohol marker will work for this.
  • Those pops of pink create a visual triangle to frame the sentiment of the card.
  • When attaching this delicate butterfly, I like to add just a few tiny dots of Glossy Accents to the body of the butterfly and gently bend the wings to give it more dimension.
And what's a blog hop without some fun prizes up for grabs? One winner from each Top Dog Dies blog will be randomly selected to receive a Top Dog Dies Bunny & Eggs Die Set. Simply enter using the rafflecopter gadget-thingy below:

The winners will be announced on each blog Wednesday, March 19th so don't forget to check back and see if you won. :)

That's enough from me for today, it's time to hippety hop across to my fellow Top Dog Dies DT buddy and fellow Amy - Amy Tsuruta. And if you get lost for any reason, here's a full list of hopping hosts:
