Welcome to a special spring blog hop in collaboration with Top Dog Dies and Echo Park Paper Co!

Both the Top Dog Dies DT and the Echo Park Paper DT are joining forces on spring-themed projects today. You should have hopped across here from Lisa Swift but if you haven't, then be sure to start out over at Top Dog Dies. :)
Echo Park Paper Co kindly sent me the Splendid Sunshine Collection Kit to create with and I love it. It's so bright and cheery! For my project today I used a patterned paper from the pack, a journalling card, and a fun sticker. This was paired with the beautiful new TDD Butterfly Die Set that was die cut from yet more pretty Echo Park Paper from the collection.

- The pearls I used on the butterfly's body were originally white but I coloured them with a pink Promarker to add more contrast and coordinate with the sticker I used. Any alcohol marker will work for this.
- Those pops of pink create a visual triangle to frame the sentiment of the card.
- When attaching this delicate butterfly, I like to add just a few tiny dots of Glossy Accents to the body of the butterfly and gently bend the wings to give it more dimension.
