Rainbow Birthday!

Hey!

Well to some of you TGIF! For myself, I'm having to make the most of my last day off *sob*!

Today's card was made to celebrate the birthday of Carol who is a fellow Papertrey Peep! She's a fan of all the colours of the rainbow so I found myself surrounded by lots of different coloured inks for this card:

Card Recipe
Stamps: Star Prints/Daily Designs Sentiments
Inks: Pure Poppy/Summer Sunrise/Lemon Tart/Spring Moss/Aqua Mist/Raspberry Fizz/Memento Black
Cardstock: Stamper's Select White
Accessories: PTI Vintage Buttons/White Button Twine/Fine Black Pen/Corner Rounder
/3D Foam Pads

Happy Birthday Carol! I hope you have a fabulous day!

Right then, wishing you all have a fabby weekend! Don't stray too far though, can you believe I've hit 100 followers (well it might not be now, but believe me it hit 100 on Wednesday!) Thank you so much for your wonderful support and comments, they really are truly appreciated! To celebrate this, (and a special anniversary for me!) I can foresee some calorie free candy coming very soon......stay tuned!

Catch ya later!

This is AMAZING sweetie - I can't wait for my star prints to arrive - I'm so glad you recommended it to me. I love the ink matched to the buttons - oh, it makes me smile so!!

Enjoy your last day - I have enjoyed this week too so will actually be a bit sad to see the kids go back on Monday. There's always the weekend!!

What a wonderful card Aimes, a totally rockin' CAS style! I'm glad you found time to get inky a bit during your break - I've been struggling this week and I'm not happy about it! Hopefully I'll get some time tonight and on Sunday to give my stamps some love!!

As for 100 Followers - I guess people just catch on slow, lol, it should have hit 100 ages ago!!

PS: I absolutely agree, the new pigment inks are a dream to work with. I hope they convert pure poppy soon, it's such a beautiful red.

Yay, 100!! And I'm sure you have more who aren't on Blogger :) Love the fun colours and stars...I love that set too but haven't used it as much as my other sets :) Can't wait to get the PDB 2!! I'm going to be using for inspiration on that set :) Congrats on the skeleton gold!! Although I felt bad for our girl...did they show her interview after in GB? She felt like she had let her country down...no one here feels like that at all ...but our guy got gold!! It's a weird sport...I wouldn't even be able to do it on a bobsleigh going really slow!! Enjoy the last few days...hey! Maybe it will snow again and you can have the second Olympic week at home!! ;)
