Masculine and Monochrome...

Hey!

TGI Friday, Peeps! I'm so ready for the weekend - probably because I'm due to go to the Hobbycrafts Event at Birmingham NEC. I know it's always so busy and I can hardly make it to the front of the stalls to buy anything (maybe that's a good thing!) but it's still a nice day out with my mum! If you're going, look out for me LOL!

Today I'm finally getting around to showing you another masculine card made for another brother's birthday!

Now this brother is a fan of Derby County, so it'd be rude not to make him a card in their colours! Just a coincidence that black and white works for masculine cards too ;D

Card Recipe
Stamps: Star Prints/Daily Designs Sentiments
Ink: Memento Black
Card: Stamper's Select White/True Black/True Black Bitty Star Basics
Accessories: Saddle Stitch True Black Ribbon/Cuttlebug/Nesties

OK just a short, little post from me today! I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and I hope to catch up with you all soon!

Catch ya later!
Aimes

Hiya,

I think you could write the definitive work on how to make this stamp set look super fabulous. Another stunner my lovely, great touch with the bitty star paper too (how could you part with it!.

Awh I wish I could waltz around the NEC too - but you can't go and not get anything!! I am sure a little something will pop into your basket ;D

Have a fab time,

Emma xx

Love this Aimes! It's always so hard to get a male card to look manish but this is a winner.

I like the black and white. And I really like how you put the sentiment in a wee little half circle. Great job, Aimes!

What a great card!!! I have a hard time with masculine ones :)

So, are there a lot of paper craft events going on in the UK? I found a scrapbook store just a few miles down the road from our UK house. Looking forward to checking it out when I get there!!

It sounds like you may have brothers like I have sisters? I have 4 sisters and one brother. Oh, how I love this masculine card...you really are brilliant when it comes to making them (lots of practise with your family? LOL) I wish I had a big show to go to. Nothing around here in Canada like that. My dream would be to go to CHA at one point. Have fun...do you get to buy there? Post your goodies :)

Great masculine card!! Haha, Emma is so right! There could be a stamper's guideline "Star Prints 101 by Amy W." :) Enjoy the craft fair!
