Happy Monday! Let's countdown those days 'til the weekend :)
I'm hoping this week shouldn't be quite as busy as last week, but with moving house on the horizon in a month's time I can't help but feel I should be packing stuff now....!
However, I'm not game for packing yet...I want to have some fun. How about a game of Tag? No, I'm not crazy but leading nicely and oh-so-smoothly into talking about our new challenge on our PTI Blog. I'm really too busy to run around playing Tag, but we'd love to see you create a gift-tag of course!
For my example I went a little outta my comfort zone: making my tag a li'l masculine and adopting a colour combo that I wouldn't normally play with. Poor Ocean Tides - it really does just sit at the bottom of my pile of cardstock (along with Melon Berry of course!) just waiting for a day to be used:
Notice that I didn't have to use a tag-shaped die to create this. I just punched a hole in the top of my die-cut shape and set an eyelet in the top. ***I'll have to make a million of these if I'm ever to use up my supply of eyelets btw! I bought them in every colour imaginable when they were all the rage - I wonder if they'll ever come back on trend as fashion does? I'll be ready and waiting when they do :)***
So c'mon and play tag with us! You don't even need a tag shaped piece of cardstock to start with - just punch a hole in any old shape and see what you come up with!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I know I've not been super at commenting on your fabby creations recently but trust me, I have been stalking your blogs from afar *wink*
Catch ya later!

FABBY tag Aimes!!!
Fabulous color combo! It's cool!
Eyelets will surely come back because so many people have them, right?! Your tag is perfect, just the right set of colors.
Cute tag with the super star on it! I'm sure everyone has a stash of eyelets just sitting around taking up space. That would make a great challenge to use them up!
Pretty awesome tag you have there, Aimes! Of course, I like the red with Ocean Tides but the highlight is that cool star--perfect accent! I think I need that set!!
Great job! Love how you used the Mat Stack die as a tag. Love the star with it too. I don't use Ocean tides much either. It is a good masculine color though.
super cool! I love it - very masculine... great job Aimes!
Ocean Tide and Pure Poppy go so well! I never even considered that. Love this!
Ha, Ha!!! Why wait for a trend Aimes?? Just start one yourself :0)! This is totally fabby - I love the shape, the really authentic masculine feel and your colours do rock in a big way - just awesome!
I love the twist you gave it to the mat stack, Aimes!! And the design is really cool!!
Your tag is fabby my friend!!! Perfectly masculine :) Although you say you don't like ocean tides and melon berry, you really do amazing work with them!!! But I know what you mean, poor new leaf and lavender moon sit at the bottom of mine...I know, green at the bottom of my pile!!! Hope you'll still be my friend LOL :D
Oh how fun! Love the use of the label image for a tag. And yeah... I'm right there with you about eyelets. Maybe we can bring them back into fashion! ;-)
