Hope you all had a super weekend - I didn't get half as much done as I'd planned due to an unexpected visit from the sun! You've just gotta make the most of any sunshine around here - even when it's still freezing cold - so I spent most of my weekend topping up my Vitamin D levels :)
I also squeezed in a bit of inky time too (when I had my guy convinced that I was "sorting out my crafting supplies for moving" - Ha!) to create a card for the current paper piecing challenge over on Moxie Fab World which just so happens to be our new challenge on our PTI blog:
You know I do love this technique and I never seem to have the patience of time to dedicate to it but maybe I should make the time as I love the end results!
Oooh and check out what a good dollop of Glossy Accents and Prisma Glitter can do to your average, paper-pieced butterfly:
Gotta love me some shimmer :)
So why not get paper piecing and join in the fun? Glitter and Glossy Accents are not a requirement BTW!
Gotta scoot now and really start getting myself organised for our move next week...who knows, maybe I'll be able to secretly make a few more cards during the process of sorting out my stash *wink*
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Catch ya later!

Super card Aimes. Love that Butterfly.
Well give me this card any day instead of boring old boxes. Absolutely gorgeous work Aimes, LOVE that loopy felt action against the dark background especially.
Wish you a speedy and stress free move.

I love the bright colour combo Aimes! You do know you used green as an accent rather than your main colour though, right? lol! That paper pieced glossy butterfly is so cute!
Thanks for your sweet words on my blog. I'd never have thought to have entered that card for the paper piecing challenge as just didn't say 'paper pieced' to me!
LOVE this Aimes, that butterfly is FAB!!!
This is GORGEOUS!! The glittery butterfly is so fabby!!! And such a fun combo of colors!!!
What a way to go bold with your colors yet keep your design still feminine. Love!
Oh..I'd be avoiding packing at all costs too...and enjoy that sun! We're back to lots of rain! And that butterfly is GORGEOUS! I need to use my glossy accents more often!
Very pretty, Aimes! Love that glittery butterfly!
But we don't want average butterflies!! Super shiny, sparkly ones are just the thing for this card. Lovely elements and all pulled together so well to make a truly beautiful card. xx
Gorgeous! Love the colour combo and that sparkly butterfly! Good luck with the packing - just think how much fun it will be setting up your new crafty space!
Oh Aimes, you never sieze to amaze! I love that card, I just adore that huge sentiment and I love how you used the eyelet ribbon die. Truely inspiring :)
