Rainbow Fun...

Hey!

Happy Saturday! I did warn you that I'd been very inky recently, trying to make the most of my last days off work so the good (or bad) news for you is that I'm bloggin' like crazy and posting nearly everyday! :)

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I made to join in the celebrations of Rainbow Week on Lucy's fabby blog (I'm so happy she's up and crafting again - I've missed her creations!)

As y'know I'm a *huge* fan of rainbow themes on cards (you can check out my fun with rainbow cards here and here) so this wasn't really a challenge for me, but just some really fun inky therapy!

You'll have to forgive me but I'm still grasping on to those last few days of summer with the theme of this card and still have a bit of a fixation with googly eyes:

So Sweet!

Each lolly is also smothered in Glossy Accents too for extra shine but my photo doesn't pick that up. I love how a couple of those lollies (Mr Yellow and Mr Green in particular - no it's not Reservoir Dogs but Reservoir Lollies in this case - ha!) decided to pull a face when I was taking my pic! Naughty li'l things :)

And for those of you who just can't do cute or googly eyes here's a super CAS take on the rainbow theme (totally inspired by my past Gallery Idol Card)

you color my world

I was having more digi fun with this card for those stitches. After making this, I think I may even blow the dust of Machiney (my sewing machine) to recreate this card with real stitches when I'm feeling brave enough...

That's all the rainbow fun from me today - thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget I have a little giveaway open for the software used to create the stitches on my final card so why not try your luck?

Catch ya later!

I think one of the fun things when you come to visit will be to have each other translate certain words and phrases :) We calll lollies, popsicles and if they have ice cream in them, they are creamsicles :) Either way they look delicious!! I like that the tart flavours are being cheeky!! LOL What a gorgeous second card, too....LOVE the coloured stitching...right up my ally!! Hugs!
