Dancing Butterflies...

Hey!

So, are you watching it? The Olympics? I know not that everyone is a fan (including my guy), but I can safely say that the majority of my 'me' time this holiday has been spent watching a variety of events. I'm an Olympic Junkie - I can't help it! :)

Seeing as I've found a spare moment in-between events, I thought I'd better update my blogeroo with a card:

Butterfly Birthday2

This card is for our current challenge (that actually started last week! I'm laste sharing this card on here!) on A Passion for Papertrey. We want you to be inspired by summer and see where inspiration takes you! For me, it took me to butterflies. Admittedly you don't see many purple butterflies around, but this card was created with a recipient in mind who loves both butterflies and purple :)

We hope you can join in the fun with us. Maybe you can squeeze in an inky session in-between the Olympics and making the most of the sunshine like me? *wink*

Right - back to some essential Olympic viewing!

Catch ya later!

Fabulous flourishes...absolutely adore the color choices. So soft and serene.

those butterflies look so happy and relaxed...just like a teacher in the summer! I feel a little lost with all the sports at the summer Olympics...so many to keep track of. However, it's easy to keep track of our medals :( Winter is definitely our season. I hope you're still in your jammies, Duchess :) ox

Beautiful flourish for your pretty little butterflies. That's a gorgeous deep purple.

A 'simply beautiful' card. Gorgeous flourishes and wonderful (blinged) butterflies. That blue cs is a beautiful shade.

This is gorgeous, Aimes! I love the way that purple pops off of the white and those flourishes are yummy!

Oh Aimes...I haven't seen flourishes on a card in a long time and this is just one of your best ever! I love it. The embossed based, the purple, and funky edge...perfect!

Admittedly, I'm not so much a fan of the Olympics but I enjoy all the fun articles on London in the newspaper and online :) Your card is beautiful as always, especially the placement of the butterflies and rhinestones is awesome!
