Getting a head start on Mother's Day...

Hey!

Swingin' by the ol' blogeroo to announce some happy news (you may have heard it already but I'm late to the celebration party - ha!)

Clearly Besotted Stamps is a new stamp company started by the super talented and lovely, Stephanie. I've known Stephanie since my very early stamping days - in fact it's thanks to herself and Kate that I got introduced to Papertrey Ink and Blogland - they have been there since the start. The rest, as they say, is history!

Anyways, I digress! I'm totally honoured to have been asked by Stephanie to be on her DT! I'm in awesome, talented company - pinch me! Check out the rest of the fabby team here!

I got the stamps on Friday and have been itching to ink them up all weekend. However the wonderful weather this past weekend meant I only had time to whip up one card, but I have more in my mind ready to create, I promise!

Happy Mother's Day2

The rose and leaves from the set 'Blooming Marvellous' were just begging to be paired up with the set 'Happy Everything' IMHO. The result was a very early Mother's Day card - still, better to be early than late, right?!

Now I urge you to check out the Clearly Besotted Stamps store: there's a total of 10 fabulous new stamp sets to feast your eyes upon. I plan on inking my other sets up this week, and lemme tell ya, this gal is not going to be making her Christmas cards during December this year! *wink*

Thank you so much for your visit today!

Catch ya later!

Amy, as always this card blows my mind. :) I'm curious...how did you get the rose like that? To be the "corner" of the card. :) Please do share! Lovely creation!

This is a really pretty card, Amy! I love the beautiful shading on the rose, and the small scattering of pearls.

Thanks for sharing about this new stamp company! I always love to see new options available, and to see more women starting and owning small businesses!!

The shading you've done on the rose is beautiful.

It's a testament to the stamp quality that the white lines are so crisp and clear -- I thought it was a line image stamp and you'd embossed the lines in white! Then I looked at the stamp set and realized, no, that wasn't what happened at all, and was impressed.
