Being a Diva

Hey!

Happy Monday! Only two more of the most sweetest, happy Mondays left until school starts again - where did my holiday go to?!

I'm spending my penultimate week of the holidays being a diva - hee! No, not a *real* diva, that's not in my nature, but an inky diva with Verve Stamps is! I'm joining in the fun of their Anni-VERVE-sary seeing as I'm lucky enough to own a few sets of theirs (thanks, Diva *wink*)

They have 5 challenges and I really want to play along with all of 'em before the Friday deadline so here goes:

Challenge 1 was a fun colour challenge and a good one for me as it features gorgeous green :)

And here's what I whipped up at some unknown hour of the morning when I couldn't sleep!

Best Wishes

I'm smitten with those Hawaiian flowers - so much fun to colour! I went for a more textured look with my impression plate by covering it in white ink before running it through my Cuttlebug - I kinda like the distressed effect.

Challenge 2 came with perfect timing for me:
My brother and SIL celebrated their anniversary this weekend! No Verve stamps on this one, sorry - maybe I've spotted an absence in my stash I need to remedy *wink*

Anniversary

I have sheets of this sparkly adhesive stuff and I figured that it was finally time to use it! This card looks so much better IRL but it was a pain to photograph - sorry! In case you're wondering, those little hearts are a negatives from a heart lace border punch. Keep every. single. scrap.

So there you have it, Aimes being a 'Diva' - did I pass the test?! Well it's as much of a diva as I'll ever be and there's more to come later this week - fingers crossed!

Thank you so much for stopping by here today!

Catch ya later!

you are a Royal Diva, Duchess! The best kind! So happy to see you rockin' our challenges! I have to laugh that you even keep the little bits! I have to confess, I don't keep things that small! I'm hard core that way! I'm still thinking about your 10 mins challenge, though...maybe after this release...I'm back setting up my classroom next week, so maybe that would be a good time to make quick cards! Check out my card in the CASE dt galler...I'm SO excited about it!

We're going to be Divas together this week...I'm playing along with the Verve challenges too this week! I adore the touch of inking on the first one...gives just the perfect extra touch of texture...and the glitter on the second...fabulous!!

PS How nice are you? Coming home to the perfect key chain today! Thank you so much my sweet friend!! xoxo

I love this first card and had seen on your photostream and was thinking-how did our diva do that-so thanks for the tip!

You're totally and completely a Diva in my book Aimes - you have the talent and the personal sweetness that I think makes for a good one!!! Love both of these. The contrast between your brown rough texture and the glorious pink blooms in the first one is absolutely fabby and the shimmery second is pure delight! I bet that card has diva qualities all of its own IRL!
